An extraordinary mix of the black clay shots with a Huichol beaded decoration for your bar
Our unequaled barro negro or black clay pottery pieces are made by dear artisan and friend Yolanda in San Bartolo Coyotepec, Oaxaca. Yolanda makes these pieces by hand using a brick oven to give them form. The clay isn't actually black, but when put in the oven and covered with mud it turns black as the technique used employs smoke to change the color.
Her talent and love for detail bring to life these beautiful pottery pieces.
