Mandala at Punta Mita is now OPEN!

✤ We are open and ready for you to come visit! ✤

Funny how things happen, right!? 5 years ago- January 2015 I was sitting in Punta Mita for the first time with my mom. We had just had a crazy tour for our first major buying trip and had traveled to Guadalajara, Puerto Vallarta, Sayulita, and several destinations in Chiapas. She decided we should have a treat and spend the night at the Four Seasons Punta Mita prior to her traveling back to Dallas and me headed back to Cabo.

We sat on the beach in our beach palapa relaxing and having paletas (popsicles for those that don't know what that is) and talked and sketched and wrote out the plans for my first store that I didn't even have. I came home to Cabo 2 days later and started looking for the location that would be our first store that later opened in May 2015.
During COVID, everyone was talking like the world was ending. It was sad and a little scary. At least the unknown of how we were going to maneuver supporting our team of 30+ employees and over 300 groups of artisans, designers and providers that all needed work to continue. We had to choices, to either sulk and do nothing or to get busy.

I decided getting busy was the right option for us. I took time to be present, I learned to meditate, I sat still, got clear and dug deeper. We paid our employees (even though in Mexico we have no payroll protection or any assistance that would help with that) and we continued to pay our artisans to keep working in hopes that we would have more projects and that we would recover quickly.
What a blessing when a friend called a few weeks later to tell me that we had an opportunity to talk with someone at THE FOUR SEASONS PUNTA MITA! Back where it all started, WHAT!? Pinch me. I have goose bumps typing this because it is still surreal. Just the conversation brought me gratitude. I was introduced to someone that I feel like I have known my whole life and I will forever be grateful to be connected, and next thing I knew I was flying to Puerto Vallarta to do a market analysis and see if it was the right fit for our next store. We had only been open for 4 weeks after the shut down when we arrived to see the space that could be the home of our next store, what would be lucky number 7.

After meetings and calls, reviews, proposals and plans- we were able to get store number 7 open November 6th, 2020. Wow! This journey has been full of excitement and goodness. That doesn't mean there hasn't been stress and craziness along the way, but as we come back to our roots and why this company was even started and what our true mission is for what we do- we are simply reminded there is good in what we do for others. With this in mind, we march forward into 2021 with our chin up with a team of over 35 people now that are ready to take on the world (or at least Mexico for now) to continue making a difference in the lives of others.

Thank each and every one of you for being part of our journey and existence. We wouldn't be alive if it weren't for all of you and your support. I know that we have so much more ahead of us and am excited to continue on this path with each of you by our side. As a constant reminder that we have a choice every day how we live, how we work and how we represent- may you go forward smiling knowing you too were part of lifting us up, which has lifted THOUSANDS.

FILLED WITH GRATITUDE,

Faryn
