Planning Last Minute Trips

Summer vacations are almost over for many, but there is still time to plan a last minute trip! These are your last days to enjoy and explore without responsibilities. Personally, unexpected trips are my favorite... those trips the come out of nowhere and had no idea they could even happen!
Everybody loves a spontaneous little trip, but how can you plan a trip with such short notice? Up next are a couple of things you'd like to think about while planning:
1. Budget
Sadly, the amount of money you are willing to spend is very important when deciding where to travel. For example, if you live in Mexico and you are not willing to spend more than 300 USD on a plane ticket, your last minute trip is more likely to be a road trip to some place in Mexico, USA or Guatemala.
2. Where to go
Beach, jungle, desert, concrete jungle? Think about what kind of place you'd enjoying getting to know. I would recommend to go someplace you have never been, even if it is just a couple of hours from your hometown!
3. Transportation
What do you prefer, flying or driving? Road trips can be really fun, but you do have to be careful deciding who you are road tripping with, since you have to spend hours stuck in a car with them!
4. Accommodations
Hotels get more expensive when you reserve closer to your arrival date... when planning a last minute trip, I would recommend asking friends somebody has a second home on that spot or I would consider camping is the place allows you to. If none of those options are available, check out an airbnb. They are usually very centrical and cheaper than hotels!
5. Who to go with
I feel like some places are best known alone, with your partner or with a group of friends. Depending on the place you choose to go and what kind of trip you want, choose who to with.
