Etnēa boutique at San Miguel de Allende

San Miguel de Allende has been an obsession of mine for years now. I had heard rumblings about it for quite some time. I first went for my birthday back in 2016. This town was magical and I knew immediately that I would do anything to spend more time there.
At that time, Eclectic Array was young, but my vision was clear enough that I was determined to have a store there some day and I wanted that "some day" to be sooner rather than later. Searching for locations from another part of the country is no joke, certainly not an easy task, as in this town when locations come up for lease they go fast! I had friends in town keeping their eyes open and just before the pandemic we found a space and the whole world shut down 4 weeks later, yikes!
Now once again determined to find a space for a store there a friend of mine told me about another location that she thought was perfect and I would have to agree. For the last 17 years this location has been the home of Tortitlan, directly across from the San Francisco Church. The building we rented is owned by a sweet family we were introduced to and our passion for fashion in Mexico was certainly aligned.

We have an amazing team that has been working like crazy the last 4 weeks to get this location renovated in time to celebrate a soft opening this October in time for Dia de Los Muertos, one of my favorite holidays!
Stay tuned for pictures as the store gets completely set up.
Many people ask what is so special about San Miguel de Allende- I personally think you should go experience it yourself to feel the magic and watch out for an upcoming blog that will share with you some of our favorite things to do, places to go, food to eat, and of course where to shop in San Miguel de Allende.
