Behind the beautiful embroidered Anaya hats is Gloria, a brave woman born in Guerrero, México. She learned the art of embroidery at a young age from her grandmother, whom she went with every weekend to sell embroidered napkins at the town market.
Gloria is now retired and suffers from severe deafness, she tried embroidering hats when her daughter asked her to make one for her, and due to the outstanding result of it, she now sells them to support herself and save money to buy the hearing aids she needs.
