Her Story

Before Eclectic Array had stores, a growing team, or shelves filled with handmade pieces, there was a car packed with products, a big idea still taking shape, and a little dog named Sparrow sitting beside Faryn through all of it. She wasn't simply the shop dog. She was Faryn's companion, her constant cheerleader, and part of the beginning.

In 2022, Sparrow became very sick with an incurable illness. During those final days together, Faryn and Sparrow made a promise: to take life one day at a time, and to always show up as their best selves.

Sparrow kept that promise until her very last breath.

That promise became the heart of everything in this collection.

The Craftsmanship

Pascuala leads a community of more than 50 women artisans in Chiapas, Mexico, who hand-weave every strap in this collection on a backstrap loom, the same technique passed down through generations. The pattern they weave today began with something deeply personal: the strap design of Sparrow's final collar. It now travels through dog collars, totes, clutches, and wristlets, so Sparrow's promise can be worn, carried, gifted, and shared. Each strap is finished with genuine leather for lasting quality. Every piece sold creates demand for another handwoven strap, and another season of work for Pascuala's community.
