The word Huipil comes from the náhuatl word “Huipilli”, which means “my cover up” and it is known to be a common upper body piece as well as a dress, first registered to be used by indigenous women in southern states of Mexico.
The Vintage Huipil is a beautiful traditional upper body piece, handmade out of synthetic fabric and enhanced with cotton yarn embroidery. Holding on to its originality, the Huipil comes in a wide style fits all. It can take up to several weeks to complete, but the results are amazing!

Care Instructions Due to hand-embroidered material, it is recommended to hand wash delicately with warm water.
Use a low-heat setting in the dryer (1 cycle) and/or hang dry. If pressing is needed, use low heat, dry iron with no steam on the wrong side of the fabric.
